The role

Genero’s brand is built on creative storytelling through video and we produce a high volume of our own video content to use in marketing and communications.

Our video content needs to be very high quality, creative and engaging to reflect our market leadership in the global advertising industry and our strong music industry heritage, and to represent the quality of our global network of creatives.

We’re looking for a highly creative storyteller who will bring their own ideas and creative flair to our business to help shape our brand, combined with the motion design and editing skills to make very high quality and engaging content.

Working with our Marketing Director, regional client teams across Asia, Europe, North America and Australia, you will be responsible for producing a broad range of video content for us to use on our website, social media, events and other communication channels.

Key responsibilities:

  • Edit video content to produce branded films for Genero including brand videos, showreels, case studies, creative promotional campaigns and other digital video assets

  • Use motion graphics and animation to create well-paced, engaging, and interesting narratives

  • Work with our global creative community to source, edit and utilise behind the scenes content from Genero shoots around the world

  • Work with our product team to produce videos to showcase platform functionality

  • Work with the marketing team to ensure consistency and quality of all final video output, making sure it aligns with our brand

The successful candidate:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in motion design and editing in an advertising agency or in-house at a brand or media company

  • Degree or course related to multimedia, film/animation, audio visual production

  • Excellent video editing experience - able to provide examples of video that have been edited from raw footage to produce engaging stories for brands

  • Proficient in video post-production including motion graphics/animation, sound design, colour correction and well-versed in project setup, archiving footage and managing assets

  • Highly creative with the ability to tell a cohesive story in an engaging way

  • Strong understanding of current visual trends in the areas of editing, motion graphics/animation

  • Experience producing social and mobile-first content and an understanding and enthusiasm for the web and social media, including best practices and optimisation techniques

  • Skills and ability to shoot content will be highly regarded but not compulsory.

  • Team player and an excellent collaborator with the ability to also work autonomously

  • Receptive to creative direction and feedback

  • Ability to adapt and work well within tight deadlines

  • Superior attention to detail
