Description:

The Velvet Underground are a great band and this song was always one of my favourites, so had to come up with a video for it. I decided to include some obvious V.U references, but more importantly, wanted to reflect their style and music. Had to be quirky and different, yet have a sweet edge to it as well.

Although I've never dealt with animated videos before, I thought it fitted the song and the story I came up with about a melancholy snail who lives in a shed, only goes out at night and wishes he was able to do the same things as humans.

After drawing up the storyboard, I managed to find an animator who brought it all to life. (Thanks Jolly!)
