Genero Asia HQ open for business

Genero news 06 September, 2016

Genero have opened their latest office in Singapore to service the growing need for video content in the Asian market, following the completion of a Series A investment from Ellerston Ventures. The expansion into Asia comes at a crucial time as brands and their agencies invest more than ever into video content, and appetite in the region grows. A recent study shows that consumers in Asia spend almost 4 hours per day watching video content, with branded video content production in the region increasing rapidly.

Co-Founder and CEO Andrew Lane said “We help brands create much larger volumes of video content required to keep audiences engaged online and in social media. You just can’t do that through the old approach, which was built to produce big budget TV ads and is too slow and expensive to meet today’s video content demands.”

The Singapore office is led by Amy Lavalette, formerly VP Asia at a creative content agency. Amy is responsible for managing and growing relationships with the company’s key clients. “I’m very excited to have joined the Genero team. Not only does our unique software platform present opportunities for clients to create high quality content, quickly, across many markets, and in a collaborative fashion, but our incredible global filmmaker community will continue to push creative boundaries within the region, and give our clients work that is bold and ambitious.”
