We believe that diversity breeds creativity, and through our platform want to help more female voices be heard throughout the advertising and creative industries.
To support this mission, we commissioned documentary filmmakers Gloria Kurnik and Leila Hussain to create a film to celebrate International Women’s Day 2018 in line with this year’s theme: #PressforProgress.
Their short film tells the story of a small town in India, Piplantri, which embarked on a unique project to give girls an equal start in life. It’s a beautiful story, set in a region where due to the custom of the dowry, having a daughter is traditionally considered a burden on the family. Watch the full video above!
