Motion Graphics at the Oscars

While highlights of the 2015 Academy Awards included almost every speech, John Legend & Common nailing their performance of ‘Glory’ and a surprising medley from Lady Gaga, there was a lesser-known artist subtly stealing the show with their motion graphics, and we had to share their great work.

The designs from director Henry Hobson and Elastic were featured in 20 sequences throughout the ceremony, and included these incredibly intricate and very awesome titles for Best Production Design:

Though possibly the best of them all was the nomination package for the Best Picture Category. Watch below:

This year’s 87th Academy Awards took place on February 22nd at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
