The brief

Through their global network of logistic experts, DHL have a unique ability to connect sports fans all over the world with each other, and with their favourite teams.

They came to Genero for support in shooting content at 50 sporting events around the world for their UNITED.DELIVERED. and RUGBY.DELIVERED. campaigns.

This ambitious project required content to be shot in a consistent style and delivered to DHL’s agency, Bright Partnerships to edit the hero content.

The campaigns

UNITED.DELIVERED. DHL delivered one ball around the globe so that United fans in all corners of the world could play together, strengthening ties between this global community.

RUGBY.DELIVERED. Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2019, DHL invited rugby fans to host a match using a kit that was delivered by the brand. They delivered game equipment to 68 individual matches played across 42 countries.

The work

With experienced filmmakers needed from Norway to Nepal and Azerbaijan to Argentina, and a one week turnaround for each location, we were able to provide an affordable and agile solution without which this content would not have been possible.

Once suitable filmmakers were located in each city, we worked with the commissioned teams on their equipment and shooting styles to ensure consistency.
