Launching iconic Levi’s collaborations in-store.
In an effort to tap into today’s digitally driven youth culture, iconic apparel brand Levis Strauss & Co. have launched a number of cleverly aligned collaborations with content partners Stranger Things, Hello Kitty and Star Wars, as well as technology platform Jacquard by Google. These types of collaborations allow fashion forward consumers and fans to celebrate their favourite content and pushes the brand forward in terms of design and technology.
Levi’s came to Genero to produce a series of videos promoting the collaborations on a giant screen in their flagship store on Market Street in San Francisco. Each video complemented the overall campaign in a creative and engaging way. As the videos were primarily used for in-store promotion, most of them play without sound.
Levi’s x Stranger things
Levi’s joined forces with Netflix’s Stranger Things for the launch of the hit series’ third season. Combining content from both Levi’s and Stranger Things with originally shot live action content, special effects and motion graphics, this video takes the viewer for a ride into the supernatural. Produced by Genero creator Imagos Films.
Levi’s x Hello Kitty
The mood for this collaboration was fun, girly, and a tongue-in-cheek nod to an iconic and lovable brand. Genero creator Bomper Studio produced a nostalgic and sassy animated short which captures the subtle femininity and playfulness of this collaboration.
Levi’s x Star wars
For the launch of Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker, Levi’s created a limited-edition collection. This digital piece is an exciting visual journey that informs and thrills the consumer around the Levi’s x Star Wars collection, featuring specified imagery and themes.
The campaign in store
Jacquard by Google is the first full-scale digital technology platform created for smart apparel, footwear, and other everyday essentials. The jacket connects with the wearer’s mobile device through the Jacquard™️ Tag tucked into the left jacket cuff.
The intention of this video was to illustrate to the consumer the basic principles of the jacket and the technology behind it to show how with a few simple gestures.
