6 hilarious ways to survive in the woods.
The brief
With a built-in knife, fire starter, flashlight and bottle opener the Survival Belt is a one-of-a-kind belt made for adventure enthusiasts. SlideBelts were looking for a creator in the USA to make an engaging 60-second video for this clever product. Distributing the ad primarily on YouTube, they needed the video to be optimised for mobile and be totally unskippable.
The team had a rough idea for the content in mind: they wanted to use the first-person narration format, with the hero of the video engaging directly with the audience on just how awesome the Survival Belt truly is.
The work
Genero Creator Shruti Ganguly from Honto88 was commissioned for this brief with an idea for a funny, playful video that featured a humorous script, told through a single shot.
The script focuses on 6 ways to put your Survival Belt to use, whether it’s just for cool party tricks or actual real-life outdoor things in the wilderness.
