Safe production solutions, so you can keep moving forward.

Guides & Inspiration • Written by Mick Entwisle, CEO & Co-founder

For marketers moving forward with ‘business unusual’ during these difficult and uncertain times, one key challenge is figuring out how to create content when production capability has been so greatly affected.

The good news is, there are still plenty of safe production options to get your messages out there without putting anyone in harm’s way.

Our solution is powered by a huge global network of remote working creatives and a tech platform that allows for easy online collaboration, with tools to manage the entire end-to-end production process. The added bonus is that this model also provides time and cost savings, which will be incredibly important to enable business recovery quickly and efficiently.

Here are just a few safe creative production solutions that we can help you with during this challenging time, that will keep you, your team and our creatives safe.

Original production

Did you have to cancel that big live-action shoot? Think about flipping it to animation. Can’t get to Thailand to shoot that footage you need? High quality stock and clever editing may be an option for you.

Depending on what you need, there are a number of safe options for original production not requiring a large team on set:

  • Simple video or photography shoots (with relevant health & safety restrictions in place)
  • Animation to tell a story or explain a process
  • Advanced motion graphics
  • Illustration and design
  • AR filters
  • Post production services such as editing, sound design and VFX
  • Live streaming
  • High quality stock footage

Check out a selection of our animation, motion design and AR work below.

Repurpose your existing assets

This is a great solution if you need assets within days, or have a lower budget. We have a huge network of editors and motion designers who can quickly repurpose existing assets to produce effective digital content.

As an example, we’re working with a number of brands to transform their OOH content into refreshed digital, social and broadcast assets for immediate use as audiences move inside the home and spend increased time on digital platforms. But it also works just as well with any existing assets including TV, print and display ads.

This solution can involve adapting the edit to be more mobile-friendly through to tweaking the messaging or calls to action to be more relevant for today.

See this process in action below.

Transitioning back to live production

Live production is obviously very difficult in some markets at the moment, but we’re tracking the situation globally with our Global Production Status Map. This is an up-to-date view of the level of production possible in over 80 markets, developed in collaboration with our creatives around the world. If you need to arrange a shoot, we can provide guidance on live production in alternative markets and source local production partners where needed.

Where shoots are possible these are being managed with strict safety measures in place. These measures include restrictions around the number of people on set, people who have travelled in the last 14 days or have any cold / flu like symptoms, increased cleaning and sanitisation of equipment and conducting thorough health and safety briefings.

While we wait for safer conditions and restrictions to be lifted more broadly, our creative network can also help with campaign strategy and creative ideation so you’re ready to go when the time is right. If you post a brief you can expect a deep, diverse pool of detailed creative treatments (storyboards, scripts, production plans etc.) within a week to select from.

These are uncharted waters for all brands, but our business has been set up from the start to support remote working and collaboration and we’re here to help you through this challenging period. If you’d like to discuss how, please get in touch with your local team. We’re all on board and ready to assist.
